Kapalbhati Pranayama

In Kapalbhati, full attention is given to the laxative only. Do not try to supplement, but easily let go as much as the breath goes in, the whole concentration is in exhaling the breath. In doing so, naturally the action of contraction and transmission takes place in the abdomen as well. Once in a second, the breath should be released with rhythm and held easily.

Kapalbhati

Anulom-Vilom Pranayama

Special: Sitting in any meditative posture, keeping the waist-neck and head straight, placing the left hand on the left knee in Gyanmudra, making a nasal pose with the right hand, closing the right nostril with the thumb, gradually lengthening from the left nostril. Take a deep breath.

Bahya Pranayama

Sitting methodically in Siddhasana or Padmasana, exhale as much as possible in one go. By taking out the breath, hold the breath outside as much as possible by applying tribandh i.e. Mool bandha, Uddiyana bandha and Jalandhara bandha. When the urge to inhale becomes strong, then inhale slowly, releasing the bandhas. Breathe in and do the same breathing action again without stopping it.

Bahya

Ujjayi Pranayama

Sitting in the meditative posture, contracting the throat while inhaling with both the nostrils, and when contracting the throat and inhaling, then just as there is a sound from the throat while taking a snoring, in the same way there is a sound from the throat while inhaling it. There should be no friction of air in the nose. In this pranayama, one should always close the right nostril and exhale from the left nostril.
